The Department of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineering was established at Al-Mustaqbal University College on the same year of the college establishment of 2010 according to the ministry of higher education and scientific research order with reference No. C/ 5/3989 on 31/8/2010 and the Council of Ministers Resolution No. 427 of 2009. The department aims at qualifying graduates who are familiar with the engineering principles and the practical applications of the HVAC systems. This is done through the adoption of the modern educational means and establishing rich laboratories equipped with the latest equipments to graduate engineers with comprehensive practical experience capable of the execution, design and supervising the installation of various air conditioning units. .

This program offers a sequence of courses that provides coherent and rigorous content aligned with challenging academic standards and relevant technical knowledge and skills needed to prepare for further education and careers in the air-conditioning and refrigeration career cluster. The program provides technical skill, and includes competency-based applied learning that contributes to the academic knowledge, higher-order reasoning and problem-solving skills, work attitudes, general employability skills, technical skills, and occupation-specific skills and knowledge.
